As we express our love and affection for those we care about, we are reminded of the greatest love of all…Christ’s love for us. His love is a giving love, a sacrificing and selfless love. It is a love that shows itself in action. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice, giving up everything – all his glory, His life – to serve us, simply because He loves us.
